i am new to the forum and new to action script, i hope someone can help me.
i designed an online presentation which has 2 scenes and an flv in scene 2.
the client wants an 'audio on' audio off' button. can you tell me how to make the audio go completely off and then on when the viewer clicks the 'audio' button [even in the case of the flv]?
in the first scene i was able to have the audio go 'on' and 'off', using the 'stopallsounds'. but when the second scene played [the flv is in the begining of the scene] the audio returned. and so the viewer would have to turn the audio off again.
also is there a way to have the sound resume at the place it turned off or at the place where the timeline is playing?
i hope i explained this correctly.
