All submissions will be scored by the staff of
ActionScript.com based on the following criteria:

Submissions will be ranked by their aggregate score and the
winners will be posted at ActionScript.com.

Eligibility
Restrictions
No Purchase Necessary to Participate or Win. Void where prohibited.
Contestants and members of their family/household may only
qualify once during the contest period.
Must be 18 years of age or older to enter, qualify, and/or
win
Prize winners must provide name, address, phone number, date
of birth and (if in the US)
a Social Security Number.
Full time and part-time employees of ActionScript, Inc.,
Sapien, O’Reiley and friends of ED and any organization or agency affiliated
with this contest, and their immediate family, or anyone who resides in the
same household as the employee are ineligible to participate and win.
Conditions
All prizes are non-refundable, non-redeemable, and
non-transferable. No cash substitution
will be available. Prizes may be
substituted should they be unavailable do to circumstances beyond the control
of ActionScript, Inc.
If a prize winner does not elect to use his/her prize, he or
she forfits any rights to the prize, which will remain the property of
ActionScript, Inc. Should the prize be
forfeited, ActionScript, Inc. may re-allocate the prize at its sold discretion.
Winners are solely responsible for all Federal, state, and
local taxes that are applicable. Value of prizes exceeding $600.00 or an
aggregate of $600.00 or more won in contests during any one calendar year
period is reported to the Internal Revenue Service as additional income
received. The amount reported to the IRS for
income tax purposes will be the fair market value of the prize at the time the
contest is initiated, or as soon thereafter as an accurate determination of
value can be made. Fair market value is determined by ActionScript, Inc. in its
sole discretion.
ActionScript, Inc. reserves the right to use contest winners’
name, voice, photograph, and/or likeness for promotional/publicity purposes at
any time without advance permission or knowledge required, and without
additional compensation or limitations.
All submissions sent to this contest become the property of
ActionScript, Inc. and may be published, used or otherwise distributed without
limitation.
Limitations:
ActionScript, Inc., it’s subsidiary, and affiliated
companies, officers, directors, agents, or employees are not responsible for
any expenses winners incur due to illness, injury, or loss of life in claiming
or using the prize.
Rules:
Any person violating any of the above rules may be required
to forfeit the prize.
Rules may be modified at any time during the contest period
with such changes announced and available at the offices of ActionScript, Inc.
and ActionScript.com.
